Yes, it’s true the most important people on your wedding day is you and your partner, but it is also important to make sure that your guests and family have a good time as well. Here are a few tips I have gathered from attending weddings that I believe helps make everyone have a fun time! 
Tips to Ensure Guest/Family Satisfaction:
1. Include both sides of the family–if you are marrying someone from a different culture, different religion, different country, or even different political views, it’s important to consider all guests present and to respect and embrace the differences. If you recognize one, recognize the other.
2. Make sure there is enough seating–make sure there is more than enough. No one wants to stand the entire time during your reception, rehearsal dinner, or vows. Make sure to have adequate seating.
3.Try to have variety in your catering–if you have one type of food at your rehearsal dinner, have a different kind at your reception, etc. No one wants to eat the same thing all weekend, and some may like one night and not the other.
4. Make sure guests know if you are running an open bar or not–some people will assume it will be open and not bring money to buy drinks, others will be surprised if it is open. Just make sure that guests know what they should prepare for.
5. Hire a good DJ–there will be people of all ages at your wedding, and all different music taste. It is important to have a DJ or a band, that plays a variety so everyone can have something nice to listen to.
6. Smile–your friends and family will be happy to see you happy and enjoying your day!
